ALS has always provided on-site service using our own engineers but many of our service call-outs are not for actual faults of the labelling equipment but due to incorrect set up. High staff turnover and changes on production lines mean that quite often, the people we had originally trained to use our labelling machinery, have now moved on. In many cases, the current operators running the labelling equipment do not really know how to get the best from the labeller or how to clean and maintain them properly. This quite often results in component life-span being reduced and accuracy of label placement compromised.
